UPDATE: Escaped notice canceled. According to the Iowa Department of Corrections, Goldman has returned to the facility.
DES MOINES, Iowa (KWQC) – The Department of Corrections is searching for a man who escaped from a work release facility.
Karlos L. Goldman, Jr., 25, was placed on escape status after failing to return to the facility from his employment. Goldman was transferred to work release on December 23, 2015.
He was convicted of Assault while Participating in a Felony and sentenced to 26 years.
He has tattoos on his chest, neck, upper left arm, left forearm, right forearm and his ears are pierced.
Anyone with information about where Goldman is located is asked to call the Des Moines Police Department or the Polk County Sheriff’s Department.
