Bettendorf Library summer programs find new home

BETTENDORF, Iowa (KWQC) – The Bettendorf Public Library’s summer program will go on as scheduled.

Reading programs are from May 31- July 30. Registration is online only at this time. Visit the library’s website to register or to view a complete program schedule.

All programs that were originally scheduled to be held at the library will now be held at Bettendorf High School. Room locations at the high school will be announced at a later date.

SHIIP sessions will not be available this summer ,and the reading assistance dogs will not be available in June.

If you have questions about the Summer Reading Program, call 563-344-4175. You can also email mlevetzow@bettendorf.org for adult programs and podell@bettendorf.org for children/teen programs. Please do not call Bettendorf High School.

The library is closed due to major water damage. The library is expected to be closed for 3 months and repairs could cost at least $1 million.
