DES MOINES, Iowa (KWQC) – The Iowa Statewide Tornado Drill has been postponed until Thursday.
According to the National Weather Service Quad Cities, the drill has been pushed back to Thursday, March 24th, between 10:00 AM and 11:00 AM due to anticipated weather on Wednesday.
According to Weather Specialist Katie Donovan the Quad Cities will seen rain Wednesday afternoon before transitioning to a wintry mix Wednesday night into Thursday.
